Marland Yarde’s last-second try saw Sale beat Wasps to keep their Premiership play-off hopes alive.

In a dramatic finish, Wasps’ Danny Cipriani was carried off before the ball was worked to Yarde in the left corner from the resulting scrum.

It completed a fine comeback from 17-0 down, with Rob Webber, Byron McGuigan and Bryn Evans also crossing.

Two first-half Josh Bassett tries and Elliot Daly’s second-half score only earned Wasps a losing bonus point.
